Clémentines make wonderful holiday escapes
B&B and restaurant with similar names offer good food and comfort in the Laurentians

The Gîte les Matins de Clémentine, a B&B in Val Morin, and Restaurant Clémentine, a dining spot in Val David, are not related but they have a lot in common.
Both have great food, attentive service and an inviting atmosphere. And both recently made their marks as great hospitality successes in the Laurentians.
Les Matins de Clémentine is a 1940s A-frame chalet that has been modernized and renovated by the husband-and-wife team of Monic Clément and Clermont Imbeault.
Nestled in the woods between Val Morin and Val David, Les Matins de Clémentine is surrounded by spruce and pine, a forest that has been snow-laden since late November. Step inside the B&B and you continue to experience that glorious wintry scene through windows that reach to the top of the
A-frame''s cathedral ceiling. One of the best seats in the house is found beside the round fireplace that dominates the living room. Clément has added a festive touch with a child''s sleigh filled with stuffed Santas and colourful Christmas gifts.
